When Casey began his legal studies, his intention was to concentrate on international law. During law school, he began to realize the vast number of opportunities presented where attorneys are able to help people navigate difficult times in their lives. When his grandmother became seriously ill, and needed to move to a long-term care facility, he saw firsthand the challenges faced by seniors and the importance of advanced planning. It was then that Casey decided to focus his legal career on estate planning and elder law. Casey’s colleagues and clients are extremely happy he chose this path.
Casey received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was on the editorial board of the University’s Journal of Intellectual Property. Now that he is back home in Michigan, Casey is a proud member of the Oakland County Bar Association.
A Michigan native, Casey grew up in Rochester Hills and resides in the area today. He is active in the community, volunteering for a number of organizations including the Rochester Hills Public Library and St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he assists with the collection of Christmas gifts for families in need. Casey also volunteers his time keeping our community clean through Adopt-a-Highway.
When not practicing law or volunteering, Casey enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, with whom he regularly attends Kensington Church, and raising his young Golden Retriever. Casey also enjoys watching movies, cheering on the Red Wings, and planning his next trip abroad.
