Caitlin collaborates closely with clients to ensure their assets have been properly placed into their trusts. She also drafts deeds to put clients’ homes in their trusts. A former teacher, Caitlin is adept at explaining complicated legal matters to clients in an easy-to-understand manner. She enjoys helping clients plan for the future and experience the peace of mind that comes knowing their trusts are properly funded and will accomplish the goals for which they were created.

Caitlin received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law and her Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Prior to joining RLF, Caitlin worked with the Chicago Park District’s litigation team, assisting on the preparation of witnesses for depositions and drafting documents for court.

Born in the suburbs of Chicago, Caitlin has lived in Michigan since October of 2018. She is married and has an adorable and mischievous beagle named Lucy.  She enjoys attempting to escape from escape rooms, reading mystery and science fiction novels, and watching episodes of Black Mirror and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  When it’s warm enough, she also enjoys biking and playing tennis and softball.  She is an avid traveler and has especially enjoyed her time in New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Israel, and Ecuador.  She is planning a trip to India for 2020.
