Caitlin collaborates closely with clients to ensure their assets have been properly placed into their trusts. She also drafts deeds to put clients’ homes in their trusts. A former teacher, Caitlin is adept at explaining complicated legal matters to clients in an easy-to-understand manner. She enjoys helping clients plan for the future and experience the peace of mind that comes knowing their trusts are properly funded and will accomplish the goals for which they were created.

Caitlin received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law and her Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Caitlin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan; the Oakland County Bar Association; the Oakland County Bar Association’s Probate, Estate & Trust Committee; the Oakland County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee; the State Bar of Michigan’s Probate & Estate Planning Section; and the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section. Prior to joining RLF, Caitlin worked with the Chicago Park District’s litigation team, assisting on the preparation of witnesses for depositions and drafting documents for court.

Born in the suburbs of Chicago, Caitlin has lived in Michigan since October of 2018. She is married and has an ancient, but adorable, beagle named Lucy. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, biking, tennis, and softball.
